写借条，首先要居中写上“借条”两个字。

其次，应写清楚借款人（或借物者）和放款人（或出借者）的法定全名，比如孙悟空借了我的金箍棒，应该写“孙悟空向东海龙王敖广借金箍棒壹根”，而不能只写“孫悟空向龙王借金箍棒壹根”，因为龙王可不只一个，不仅有东海龙王，还有西海龙王、南海龙王、北海龙王、井龙王、河龙王……不写清楚，谁知道你向哪个龙王借的金箍棒呢？

第三，借条上应写清楚所借物品的数量，如借款就要写清借款金额，包括大写和小写的金额。小写金额就写阿拉伯数字，大写金额就写汉字的数字（零壹贰叁肆伍陆柒捌玖拾佰仟万亿）。写汉字金额的主要目的是为了防止人随意篡改。比如我找孙猴子借款10000元，就应该写成“借款壹万元整”，要是写成“一万元整”，孙猴子随意加一横，我就跳进黄河也洗不清了！

第四，借人家的东西，不管是钱还是物，都要明确写出借东西的时间以及归还期限。如：2017年4月1日借某物，期限一年，2018年3月31日归还。若有利息，也需写清楚。

最后，借条要有借款人的本人签章、手印或亲笔签名。签名要字迹工整，签名下面要写借款日期。
