晋祠建筑中的颜色高贵庄严。在晋祠的许多建筑中金黄色的使用，使晋祠看上去更像是皇家园林，如金色的牌匾、盘柱的金龙，还有庙宇外墙的装饰色等等都使用了金黄色，再加上红墙璧瓦，仿佛让人心生敬畏，就感觉好像是到是到了北京的故宫。

晋祠建筑中的雕刻栩栩如生。从图片上不难发现，建大到盘柱的金龙，小到屋檐下的神仙、人物、走兽都雕刻得栩栩如生，反映出古代当时的雕刻技术已经可以用鬼斧神工来形容了。

晋祠建筑中的牌匾胜似一景。从图片上看，晋祠中很多建筑都是挂有牌匾，也许达不到一房一牌匾，但其牌匾的颜色、形状、内容细细品味也别有些韵味，胜似一景。就拿圣母殿来说，据网上介绍圣母殿是现存晋祠内最古老的建筑，是我国宋代建筑中的典范，具有很高的历史价值和艺术价值。从网上图片看圣母殿大殿庄严古朴，气势宏伟，蔚为壮观，而最有意思的我看是圣母殿的牌匾。爸爸、妈妈曾带我去过很多的庙宇古刹，像汉阳的归元寺，还有木兰上山很多的寺、观庙宇，但没有一个像晋祠中的圣母殿一样，只要你仔细看就会发现，就圣母殿正面而言居然挂着八块牌匾。一块“圣母殿”的牌匾下还有七块牌匾，不仅内容各异，颜色也不尽相同，只是在图片上看得不是很清楚具体的内容，有些遗憾。
