李阳学习英语的故事

李阳祖籍山西，1969年出生于祖国大西北的新疆乌鲁木齐。其父母六十年代大学毕业后响应党的号召志愿支援边疆建设。李阳中学的学习状况不很理想，1985至1986年高三期间因对学习失去信心曾几欲退学，1986年自新疆实验中学勉强考入兰州大学工程力学系。大学一二年级李阳多次补考英语。

为了彻底改变英语学习失败的窘况，李阳开始奋起一博，他摒弃了偏重语法训练和阅读训练的传统，另辟蹊径，从口语突破，并独创性将考试题变成了朗朗上口的句子，然后脱口而出。经过四个月的艰苦努力，李阳在1988年大学英语四级考试中一举获得全校第二名的优异成绩。

记得以前刚上小学的时候，我的英语很差，我常常觉得很苦恼。有一次，妈妈出去有事，叫我在家里读英语书。可是有好多生词我不会，怎么办呢？我左思右想，突然，我发现书柜里有一本英语大字典，于是我就翻了起来。过了一会儿，我竟然找到了那几个单词，不但学会了怎样读，而且还知道了它们的意思。我心里乐滋滋的，心想：还是字典帮了我呀！

自从学会了查字典，没有妈妈的帮助，我也能读英语了。可是仅仅这样还不够，想要让英语成绩提高还得每天坚持复习和预习。

我复习是这样的：先把课本拿出来，把课文背给妈妈听，让她帮我听写单词，有不会的词就订正3遍。订正完了，我又让她帮我听写一遍，刚才错的词，就OK了。

预习呢？我先把英语课本、字典和笔拿出来，然后把英语课本里的生字圈出来，再翻字典，查查，查到了就把它的意思写到书上，而且把生词背下来。
