在遥远的大草原，生活着一种被其它动物称为“短跑冠军”的动物，那就是我——猎豹。

虽然，我和人类家里养的小猫是“亲戚，”但是我的身体却有小猫的十倍甚至二十倍大。我的速度也不是任何一种动物可以媲美的，如果我全速奔跑，可以达到每小时130公里，相当于火车速度的两倍。我的身上长着棕色的毛，而且还有着黑色的斑点。虽然我们的身体很显眼，但是我们有着出色的隐蔽技巧，我们成功的几率十有八九。

除了我们迅猛的速度之外，更不可思议的是，在从前我们竟然为人类捕过猎。就在从前，人类靠自己的力量根本抓不到猎物，它们就想到了猎豹，人类就开始用各种方法驯服我们，让我们来帮他们抓猎物。后来，人类用猎犬替代了我们，因为我们只要一有机会，就会想办法把我们的主人咬死，可猎犬却比我们更加的温顺一些。

虽然我们猎豹家族各个都是独行侠，不过有时，也会合作着一起捕捉一只我们单个应付不来的动物。

有一次，我发现了一只正在河边喝水的落单的公牛，我刚想冲上去，可是发现又有一只猎豹叮上了它，我刚想吼叫让那只猎豹走开。不过公牛那健壮的身体和锋利的牛角让我胆怯了。我走到另一只猎豹的旁边说：“你谁呀，这谁的领地知不知道?来!叫声豹哥，这公牛咱俩三七分，我七，你三。”我还没有说完，这只猎豹已经冲了上去，一跃跳到公牛的背上，撕咬公牛的后背，我也不甘示弱地冲了上去，抓住公牛的一只腿就开始咬，这时这只公牛已经毛了，拼命地想把我们甩下去，不过四脚难敌八爪，公牛因为失血过多，死了。我们两个也贪心地吃着肉。
