从初三到除夕那一天之前还要扫尘，扫尘的意思就是说大扫除，把过去一年的尘土都扫出去。说白了就是把家里里里外外都打扫一遍，家家户户忙里忙外，来来回回都是小跑。

三十贴春联和年画，还有日历、“福”字，窗花……等等各种各样的寓意是美满的东西。人们脸上都是乐呵呵的，尤其是男孩子们，可以放鞭炮。
