家家户户都在张罗着包粽子，买纸葫芦……说起端午节包粽子的习俗，是和我国历史上的爱国诗人屈原有关的。据说屈原跳入汨罗江后，人们为了不让水里的鱼咬着屈原的身体，便做了许多粽子扔到水里。这样鱼儿有粽子吃就不会伤害到诗人屈原了。

想要吃到香喷喷的粽子可不是很容易的事情，妈妈在端午节的前两天就要把糯米泡上，粽叶也需要煮一煮，还要买来一些蜜枣。等到端午节前一天的晚上，妈妈才开始包粽子。我不会包粽子，但是我总是看着妈妈包，时不时帮妈妈打打下手。妈妈先将两片粽叶叠起来，叠成一个漏斗形状；然后放入糯米和蜜枣；再将余下的粽子叶盖在漏斗上封口、裹紧；最后用绳子把粽子绑紧。一个粽子就包好了。妈妈把粽子包好后先把粽子整齐地摆在锅里，等到端午节的早上再煮。

到了端午节这天早上，我们一家人早早的起来，妈妈把粽子煮上。妈妈给我系上了五彩线和香包，把我打扮的香香的。还告诉我不要丢弃，只能在端午节后第一场雨时才能扔掉。妈妈还告诉我了五彩线的来历，它象征着五色龙，可以降伏鬼怪，带走一切疾病。妈妈和爸爸领着我到后山边踏青、采艾蒿、折柳枝，在小河里洗洗脸。回到家，我们把艾蒿和柳枝、还有漂亮的纸葫芦插在房檐上、门上，家里充满了节日的气氛。

忙完这些以后，今天的主角——粽子，终于登场了!还有鸡蛋和鸭蛋呢！我吃着又香又甜的粽子，心里美滋滋的。

我帮妈妈一起包粽子，妈妈也手把手一步一步的教我，我学得很认真，并把步骤记录了下来：第一步：拿水泡上姜米；第二歩：把苇叶洗干净；第三步：把大枣洗干净；第四步：把苇叶围成一个圆锥形，圆锥形地下必须是尖尖的才能防止姜米漏下去；第四步：用手紧紧按住苇叶，把姜米放进去；第五步：在姜米上放上几颗大枣;第六步：用线绳绕一圈系上。就完成了。

吃粽子时先把线绳解开，然后蘸着白糖吃，好吃极了。

端午节还有一个风俗习惯，那就是赛龙舟。往年每次电视里有赛龙舟的节目，我都吵着要看。而且如果我晚上看的话，就会大喊：“加油！加油！加油！”吵得我的家人都不能安心入睡了。

龙舟很漂亮，特别是那个龙头，好有威风啊！我喜欢龙舟，真想亲自上去坐一坐。
