Doing Housework

On Saturday morning when I was watching TV, my mom said“If you have nothing to do, what about helping me do housework? I have a thing to deal with .” Although I dislike doing housework , I can`t refuse my mom. I think that doing housework is so tiring and I`m very lazy. First, I swept the floor. I found it`s so easy. Then I cleaned the table and the shelf at last I washed so many clothes and washed the dishes . After I did them, I was so tired that I can`t stand up. It took me 3 hours to do housework. But when I saw the clean house, I was very happy. When my mom came back ,she praised me and I was pround of myself.

I think housework is that kind of thing that I do not like doing. But I have to do that. I always do housework such as washing dishes, cleaning desks and making ground clean. Cleaning desks is the thing I will do. Because I was taught to do that by my cousin 3 years ago.

At 9:00 on that day I was playing outside with my cousin. She asked me “Can you make a desk clean?” I said I could not. So she taught me how to clean a desk. She said “First, you should find a piece of cloth and put it into water.” Then clean everywhere on the desk and repeat that.”

I agree that story is simple and not interesting. But in my heart, it is a story that I can not forget. I find doing housework is a little interesting from that day .

Do you like doing housework?

I’m sure that I like doing housework .I often do some housework that I can do like sweeping floor, doing the dishes, washing clothes and so on. Last year, I cooked soup for my mother on her birthday. I cut beef, onion, carrots and potatoes into small pieces first. Then I put beef pieces into water and boiled them with salt, pupper, Chinese prickly ash and ginger for three hours. Next I added vegetable pieces into soup. But I forgot that I had had already added salt, I added salt again. Finally the soup that was a little salty was OK.I took a bowl of soup for my mother. She was so surprised and moved. Although it’s a little salty, she still ate it out. I was moved, too.So from that, I prefer to do housework.Because it can not only train us but also make our parents happy. I like doing housework

I think each member of family must do housework . It is our responsibility . Because our parents are so tired that they don`t want to do anything . But they still keep on doing housework . It is for us . I thank my parents for them raising me . So I must do something I can do.

I like to do housework . It makes me happy . I often wash the dishes ,sweep the floor ,take out the trash and so on . I remember the first time . I did housework in Grade Four. Because I have free time . And I want to feel my parents` hardship . So I started to do that . At first . I feel very bored . But my mother comforted me carefully . Then I gradually do that seriously .

The feeling makes me understand my parents` hardship .And I become more and more skilled in doing housework . My parents feel gratified . They think that it`s a necessary experience . And I want to do more things for my parents . If you don`t do it ,then you start to do it .Come on ! Nothing for nothing .

Last Sunday, I was free, and I wanted to do something. I cleaned my room and washed the dishes, then I bought some vegetables for dinner.
