Today the quality of our natural environment has become an important issue. The world population is rising so quickly that the world has become too crowded. We are using up our natural resources and at the same time polluting our environment with dangerous chemicals. If we continue to do this, life on earth cannot survive.

Concerned people have made some progress in environmental protection. Governments of many countries have established laws to protect the air, forests and sea resources and to stop environmental pollution.

Still more measures should be taken to solve environmental problems. People should be further educated to recognize the importance of the problems, to use modern methods of birth control, to conserve(保存） our natural resources and recycle（再循环） our products. We are sure that we can have a better and cleaner place in the future.

春天，公园里百花齐放、万物复苏，一切都显得生机勃勃。花坛里各种各样的花争相绽放，场面十分壮观：牡丹花、报春花、兰花……在花坛里亭亭玉立着，像一位娇滴滴的少女，散发着诱人的香气。使过路人都停下脚步，细细地欣赏着这美丽的花坛。

夏天，公园里烈日炎炎、骄阳似火，把大地炙烤得如同被火烧了的平底锅似的。幸亏这时大树已经长得枝繁叶茂，蝉正在树上“知了，知了”地叫，树下有几个小朋友正在吮吸着冰冰凉凉地冰棍儿呢!

秋天，公园里秋高气爽，秋风习习，一切似乎都变成了红色。枫树的叶子全都成了火红色，树上的叶子像一团团火焰，一个看起来只有3、4岁的小孩指着树上说：“啊!树上着火啦!”一阵风吹来，落了好多在小孩身上。小孩大声叫了起来：“哎呀!我的衣服怎么也着火了呀?”说着就拍打身上的树叶，旁边的人都小声地笑了起来。

冬天，公园里下起了鹅毛大雪，公园里的喷泉水一出来就结成了冰柱，变成了一个十分美观的冰雕。人们穿着厚厚的棉袄，穿行在没过膝盖的雪面上，树上也盖着厚厚的积雪，好像冬爷爷给大地盖上了棉被。

每个人的家乡都有一个最美的地方。而我要描写的是家乡的一个小公园，虽然不是远近闻名，但在我的家乡宜昌还是小有名气。

春天的脚步渐渐逼近，家乡的公园里早已洋溢着春天的气息。温柔的桃花像一位仙女，粉嘟嘟的脸蛋，正在对着我们笑呢！怕冷又害羞的竹笋穿着厚厚的衣服钻了出来，翠绿翠绿的。

春天的脚步刚刚来到，夏天就迫不及待地登上大自然的舞台。夏天的公园满眼皆绿，唯有一种花开的正艳—合欢花。合欢花长的像一个小绒球，紫紫的，小小的。这种花的香味很浓，却不能传很远。

夏天的叶儿落了，那是因为秋的降临。秋天的到来让大地冷清了，但家乡的公园还是别有一番风味。那手掌似的，红似火的枫树叶落了。像一枚枚邮票，告诉我们秋天的到来，更像是一只只蝴蝶，带着夏天的火热飞走了。

秋天带走了最后一丝阳气，冬天迈着沉重的步伐来了。冬天中有一种特殊的天气，它就是冰雪仙子—雪。我们这里的雪下的不多，也很小，但很美。雪花飘落在树上，像小花，像棉花。冬天的公园里到处都是雪人，两只眼睛、一个胡萝卜、几粒纽扣和一个树枝就构成了雪人。

家乡的公园植被丰富、四季优美，是一个难能可贵的休闲地区。

One day the butterfly came to see Lily but Lily was not there. She flew here and there, but she could not find her in the park, so she went home. As she flew she saw Lily was in a little boy’s home. The butterfly flew into the boy’s home but the boy caught the butterfly. He put the butterfly in a cage and put Lily inside too.

The butterfly saw lily was crying and so she asked “Why are you crying?” Lily said, “He won’t give us water so we will die!” Five days went by and the flower and Lily died.
