人类的工厂排出了许多二氧化碳等温室气体，这些气体聚集在城市上空，就像一层厚厚的棉被把地球盖住，使地球散发不出热量，气温逐渐升高。

地球开始出现了各种极端现象，比如：下冰雹，下暴雪，刮龙卷风……这些现象打烂了窗户，吹跨了房屋，埋住了植物，使人类无法生存。生活在山区的人，因为雪山一下子融化完了，河流干枯，所以他们没办法喝到水。全球变暖让南极和北极的浮冰融化，生活在浮冰上的动物无家可归。海平面升高，许多陆地被淹没，很多动物无法找到适合自己生存的地方，都热死或冷死。

植物会吸收温室气体，所以为了防止温室效应，我也会植树造林！

随着地球的变暖和越来越多的自然灾害的发生，人类开始对地球整体环境重视起来。人们普遍认为有些自然灾害的发生是人类对自然资源的过度开发利用，使得的温室气体的增加所导致的，这就是我们所说的温室效应。

温室效应指的是地球大气层捕获太阳的能量的功能。 太阳辐射的能量到达地球的大气层后，被大气层所吸收，然后再把它向各个方向辐射。这种能量使得地面和地面表层的空气得到二次加热。大气层就相当于我们的星球裹了一层玻璃，把太阳能暂时储存起来，再慢慢使用。如果没有它，地球的温度会比现在要低30度。

正是由于这种作用才使地球有了生命的存在。但是这种效应近年来有加强。从上世纪50年代到现在，地球温度升高将近1度，而且有加速上升的趋势。这个现象导致两极冰山溶解，海平面上升，干旱，河流断流，森林为灾等自然灾害的发生。今年的8月5日，罗马的气温达到了44度，欧洲就有两人死于中暑。

是什么原因导致的呢?人们研究发现，空气中的有些成分，像二氧化碳，氮氧化物和甲烷会使温室效应的作用加强。前两种则是人类过度使用化石燃料引起的，例如煤的燃烧和汽车尾气等。后者则是现代畜牧业发展，反刍动物的嗳气和粪便发酵产生的。这其中二氧化碳的贡献占百分之七十七，氮氧化物占百分之八，甲烷占百分之十四。前两种加起来是百分之八十五，而这两类气体主要来源于工厂废气和汽车尾气。

森林面积的减少也是温室效应加强的重要原因之一。二氧化碳和氮氧化物是植物生长的原料成分。植物利用它们生产葡萄糖和蛋白质。绿色植物的减少，尤其是森林，使得我们产生的二氧化碳和氮氧化物远大于自然界的消耗，这就加强了温室效应。

所以要弱化温室效应必须要从控制温室气体的排放和增加森林覆盖两方面来考虑。虽然我们一个人的作用是微小的，但我们可以做到少开一公里车，少用一张纸，多栽一棵树。只有我们大家都行动起来，就可以为我们生存的环境做出我们力所能及的贡献。
