写人的记叙文以人物为中心，通过人物具体的个性化的语言和典型行为等来表现人物的性格、思想、感情、品质等等。

写人，要写活生生的人，因而就要写出人的个性。要想让自己所写的人物有血有肉，个性鲜明，栩栩如生，能给人留下深刻的印象，就必须注意以下几个方面：

(一)是选择人物

写人应该写自己熟悉，了解的人物，这样才有话可说，写出来也能给人以亲近、真切的感觉。要通过"事"来写人，没有具体的事件，就不可能有人的真实、生动的外貌神态、语言动作、心理活动。"事因人生，人以事显"，因此，要写好一个人，必须写好与人有关的事，并且把人物置于事件的矛盾冲突之中。

(二)是选择事件

通过事来写人。一个人在一生中乃至一天中，往往要做很多事情。选择哪些事来写呢？这就需要精心选择。事情不在乎大小，关键是，可选的事件要以是否能反映人物的思想性格、符合写作的要求为标准。事件可以是一件，也可以是几件，但必须新鲜、典型，足以表现人的个性，能够展示人的心灵，很好地表现人物的思想风貌。对于这种为表现人物而出现的事件，叙写时不仅可以不管"六要素"是否完备，同时也不苛求情节的完整，它只需要择取事件中能够显示人物特征的某些片断，用以突出人物形象就可以了。

(三)是要从多方面来刻画

1．肖像。对描写对象的外貌，包括面容、神态、身材、服饰乃至举手投足、或哭或笑进行刻画。这种刻画应该是有选择的，而不是一股脑儿往上堆。好的肖像描写着墨不必多，甚至只有一两个词，就能起到画龙点睛的作用。要防止人物的"脸谱化"，关键是要抓住人物特征，通过外貌描写既给其形又传其神。同时，肖像描写还应注意符合并反映出人物的出身、地位、经历和人物的性别、年龄、职业等特点。

2．语言。人物的语言是表现人物性格的一个重要方面，写好富有个性化的人物语言是很重要的。要让人物说他自己会说、该说的话，切忌用作者的语言代替人物语言，也不能套用千人一腔的现成话。由于各个人的身分、地位、性情、经历不同，因而说出来的话也就很不相同，语言描写应该符合对话者的这些特点。

3．行动。人物的行动是他的思想性格的具体表现，在作文时要通过动作描写表现人物在"做什么"和"怎样做"，特别是选择那些足以表现人物性格的动作，特别要注意选用准确、生动的动词通过"怎样做"写出人物的个性。

4．心理。心理描写是指对人物在一定环境中的心理状态、思想活动的描写。心理描写能使人物形象、丰满。人物心理描写的手法很多，常用的有以下几点：让人物直接倾诉衷肠，这种描写，让人物与读者直接进行感情交流，通常显得真切感人；细致描写人物的心理状态，这是一种动态的写法，描写人物在一定条件下或一定环境中的复杂心情；心理描写往往与行动、神态等的刻画结合起来，这样的描写往往容易收到更好的效果。
