来到了学术报告厅我们的同学异常激动，鼓励着咱班的选手：“加油这第一名绝对会稳稳的落在二班手里。放心去比吧!第一名无压力!”比赛开始了，第一轮实在是太简单了考的都是不能错的了。到了第二轮，咱班的筱铮选手出了点状况，主持人念：“fine”可是他好像没听清楚十分犹豫，一时紧张错乱写了个“fain”还没到20秒倒计时就草草收尾。哎呀每个人都会错的一紧张越是简单的越会错啦，我们深表同情。二班折损了一名大将。可是我们坚信就算是只剩下4人我们二班也能勇闯天涯!可是我们二班又出了一点小状况。再好几轮后我们班的杨航同学犯了一个低级错误，主持人念：“grandmother”但是杨航同学也是脑袋短路了一下后来就紧张的一发不可收拾了后来实在不行了在最后的倒计时里随便写了个“grandmom”作为应付似乎是想打个赌，赌一把看看能不能行，可惜了可惜这个聪明的小萌货猜错了令人十分惋惜。眼看着我们二班失去了两名选手，可是一班阵队还是坐的稳稳的半个都没下。

比赛似乎到了白热化阶段，我们二班的同学们有些急躁，这时庄老师告诉主持人该来些难的了，于是比赛越来越激烈。终于一班的维纲同学出了点小差错，令我们二班十分高兴，当维纲同学写错下来的时候，全场爆发出了热烈的掌声，维纲同学十分懊恼的走下了舞台，我们都相信这个单词他肯定会只是一时粗心罢了。又过了一轮一班又出现状况了!主持人念了一个单词，但是，凯绮同学没有认真听句子，大笔一挥就写下了一个意思不同但是读音相同的单词。当一班又一名选手悻悻下台，全场又以最热烈的掌声欢送一般选手下台，特别是我们二班十分激动，笑意溢在脸上有一种说不出的激动。

现在一二班是3:3!现在已经是下课时间了庄老师公布了比赛结果可是一二班不分上下，于是进行了一场加时赛考难的单词。我们班的三个同学毫无差错，单词全部写对，可是，轮到了一班的棋路同学在“October”这个单词中出现了一点小状况写下了“Octobor”可是评委们不知是不是脑袋短路了全给了她yes!大家都十分惊奇，我们班的洪亦肖同学十分激动翻开了英语书，找到了这个单词，跑到庄老师旁边，指出了错误可是她似乎不领情，说：“比赛就到这里，因为到现在，下课很久了，一二班目前人数一样，一二班以哪个班先下哪个班输，所以一班获胜!”我们二班对于这个评判自然心里不满大声反驳：“可是许棋路october错了啊!”“一切以评委为准!”大家都还想反驳什么，可是庄老师就让同学们离场，也不想和我们解释什么了。
