We are supposed to express our gratitude to others on Thanksgiving Day. However, we should feel gratitude every day.

God has two dwellings, one in heaven, and the other in a meek and thankful heart. Be grateful to others is a way to show your love. In our daily life, we often receive help from our parents, friends, colleagues and strangers. 周六的晚上，妈妈带我去乔登美语江滨路分校参加感恩节活动，来参加活动的很多都是比我年纪小的小朋友，他们都是乔登美语学校的学生。

活动开始了，一个外教的老师给我们讲了一个关于感恩节来历的故事，还用美语提出了几个问题，很多问题我都回答不出来，但是我听懂了有一句是和谁一起吃火鸡?我就举手回答，还得到了小礼物。听完了老师的故事，我知道了感恩节是每年的11月的第四个星期四，感恩节要吃火鸡，感恩节是为了纪念那些帮助过我们的人。

接下来我们又到一间教室里做感恩贺卡，老师分给我们很多彩纸，我先用橘黄色的纸剪出火鸡的头和爪子;再用红色的纸剪出火鸡的嘴、鸡冠和翅膀;用肉色的纸剪出火鸡的身体;用蓝色和浅黄色剪出尾巴，妈妈帮我贴起来，大功告成，一只漂亮的火鸡就完成啦!

第二个活动是外教老师教我们学美语，我认识了THANKSGIVING DAY (感恩节)、TURKEY(火鸡)、INDIAN(印第安)，我觉得老师讲得好生动呀，一边说一边教我们做游戏，还请我们上台一起互动，给我们发糖果，真的好开心呀!

最后我们还品尝了美味的火鸡大餐，有火鸡肉、冬枣、橘子，这是我第一次吃火鸡，有一点辣，不过很好吃。

呜呜，这有啥办呢?要怪就怪这该死的感恩节，害得我胆小的毛病又要犯了。晚上了，我只好开始我的感恩报答急了呗!!!我看见妈妈坐在店里发呆，又很疲劳的样子，我便自言自语的嚷嚷道：让妈妈放松下身体应该不错。计划开始了，我先拿了个捶背的锤子，装得很平常的样子，(这样可以减轻妈妈对怀疑我对他做什么，这样我就不会不好意思了)然后，我对老妈说：“老妈，我帮你垂下背哈!”妈妈笑眯眯的说：“太阳从西边出来了?”我无话可说，就把锤子放到妈妈背上去捶妈妈的背。哇塞!计划好像成功嘞!我高兴得一蹦三尺高。。。。。。经过这次感恩节，我感觉感恩节是温暖的!有趣的!
