使我印象最深的是《少年爱国者》、《万里寻母》这两章情节。这两个故事中，主人公为了维护祖国的尊严而扔掉了别人的钱；为了找到他母亲，走了近上千里路。

我对父母的爱、对教师的爱、对同学的爱是我做人的根本，也是其他素质的基础。这本书细腻生动地刻画了各种高贵品质——爱国、善良、侠义、英勇、宽大、无私，令人深受感动。

在我认为，素质教育其实就是爱的教育，是对祖国、父母、师长、朋友的真挚的爱，爱是教育的根本。爱的教育有诗人般细腻优美的风度与品格。把我们带到社会中去，娓娓而谈，循循善诱。它讲述了许多感人的故事，这深刻的哲理，使学生学到了很多课堂上学不到的东西。
