大家好，我是鲸鱼，我叫贝贝，希望大家认识我。

我生活在海里，我虽然小，但妈妈跟我说过我却是动物里最大，最重的动物呢。我的祖先可不是一开始就在海里，他原本可是生活大地上的呢，但因不幸发生了变化，我的祖先活活在了靠近陆地的浅海里。经过了很长长的年代，我们的前肢和尾巴渐渐变成了鳍，后肢完全退化了，整个身子成了鱼的样子，我们就适宜了海洋的生活了。

你知道我吃什么吗？我当然主要是吃虾和小鱼呀。因为我是最可爱的须鲸啊！而跟我不一样的则是齿鲸了，它们有锋利的牙齿。我妈妈告诉我一遇见齿鲸就逃走，还告诉我如果碰到了虎鲸也要立刻逃跑，因为虎鲸号称“海中之虎”，常常好几十头结成一群，围住一头三十多吨的须鲸，却只须几个小时就能把它吃光。

我们每天都要睡觉，跟人类一样，睡觉的时候，总是几头聚在一起。我们通常会找一个比较安全的地方，头朝里，尾巴向外，围成一圈静静地浮在海上面。如果听到了什么声音，我们立即四散游开。

我是胎生的，我小时候靠吃妈妈的奶长大，生下来就有十多米长，七千公斤重，一天能长三十公斤到五十公斤，两三年就可以长成大鲸。我的寿命很长，一般可以活几十年到一百多年。

可最近因为人类的捕杀和海洋的污染，我们的数量已经急剧减少。如我们的同类蓝鲸在20世纪中有近36万头被杀戮，目前仅存不到50头。在地球上生存5000多万年的我们，许多种类已经频临灭绝了。
