翻开书，开头便是小说，就感觉有了看它的动力，不然如果全都是散文的话，必须是不会按着顺序来看的。第一篇是极短的小说《梦坊》，这样的名字很有吸引人的力量。当然也给人带来深深地思考，我跟作者产生了一样的疑惑，“梦坊”是制造梦的地方吗。当然不是，而是神秘的释梦之所。随着女主人公逐渐走进梦坊，我对它的了解也逐渐加深。一周一次的活动逐渐展开，博士要求大家把自己最新的梦记录下来，来解析这些梦。然而在课程即将结束的时候，梦却不再降临到自己的睡眠过程中。大家就听取了博士的推荐，采取了各种神奇而又诡异的方式，让自己做梦。在准备让自己做梦所需的材料时，女主人公又与其中的成员发生了摩擦。这样带着烦恼和自己编造的谎言进入梦坊的女主人公渐渐释怀了。

我想，或许描述这样一个故事，正是在告诉我们，其实我们没有必要为了生活中的小烦恼或是我们认为的大烦恼而牵肠挂肚，在我们为这些烦恼而愁眉不展的时候，不知不觉之中，这些烦恼就已经离我们而去了。

《藏红花》是一个感人的故事，仿佛又回到了与《鲜花手术》相同的那个时代。故事发生在祖国的寒冷的边境。我看到的是战争的残忍，内心的孝顺和战友间深厚的情谊。我想这样的故事必须是与作者在三山交汇的高原上当卫生员的经历有关，这样的工作，必须经历过太多的壮烈的牺牲，太多真情的显现。有这样经历的毕淑敏，才能从一个从医者，华丽蜕变为一个著名的作家。

她的处女作《昆仑殇》这样的故事还是满耐看的，也不像时下流行的一些校园小说，名作家写的远比那些更有深意。我看到在这样三山交汇的高原，寒冷远远超出我们的想象，这样拉练就显得尤为艰苦，围绕着他们的是随时随地都有可能发生的牺牲。领导的指挥更加难以进行，个性当领导者要挑战前人所未到达过的无人区时，部下就对这样强度的拉练感到不满，矛盾不可避免的爆发了。在这样的拉练中，男女的界限也是模糊的，他们都得负重七十公斤徒步行军。我一瞬间就想到了人们常说的，以前的条件这么艰苦，此刻的我们，更要珍惜来之不易的幸福。我在小说的看到，只有浅层接触的人们，却在爬山的过程中，为了拯救对方而失去了自己的生命。这样的牺牲是伟大的。记得其中的一个细节，在徒手攀登悬崖时，就有人期望自己失手坠落，这样就既能够免去了寒冷的围困，也能够被送入烈士陵园。然而不听使唤的四肢却更紧地攀住了岩壁。事实上，这是作者在亲身经历过程中产生过的想法。我就想到了，原先小说的细节也是能够这样产生的。

看这本书，也感觉到了很多关于死亡的事。作者因为想一探死亡的究竟，就来到了一家临终关怀医院。各种各样的姿态展此刻我的面前。印象最深的是那个最美丽的护士帮忙院长挑选护士，这神奇的标准是――面善。在这样一个简单的条件下，做的却是最累最脏的活。我想只有在最累最脏的活，和低廉的工资面前才能真正体现一个人发自内心的善良。在那里医生的抱负得不到实现，接触的只是不抱有任何期望的临终者。借此也能够窥探到病人家属的内心世界，为了结束病人的痛苦，他们会推荐医生让病人安乐死。那么医生就成了宁死不屈的代名词，毕竟这样的死亡还是十分残忍的。但是在另一个方面，我又同故事中的医生一样，是一个死亡阳刚论者。就像人们歌颂秋天却不歌颂死亡一样，其实死亡也是像秋天一样的很完美的必然，不是吗?既然自己的存活在这个世上已经没有什么价值，那么就安然离去好了。其中，也有为了完成任务而来的志愿者，这样的工作并不是每个人都受的了得。但是有志愿者被感动了，了解了他们的痛苦，逐渐走进了这些临终者。

其实看到后面的散文部分也是有很多感触的:
